August saw the launch of our very first Digital Marketing and Business Masterclass. Designed to help businesses in the physical activity and sports sector in the West Midlands, the 6-week masterclass was launched by TTA in partnership with the West Midlands Combined Authority and Sport Birmingham.

The aim of the course was to help physical and sport businesses in their post-Covid-19 recovery by providing them with the skills they need to get online and develop their business. The syllabus gave students the knowledge they needed to take their business to the next step and provided them with the chance to put their skills to practice. The list of modules covered included:

  •         How to structure a business
  •         Creating a business plan
  •         Where to find funding
  •         Exploring your market
  •         Customer profiles
  •         Elevator pitch
  •         Building a following
  •         Building a website
  •         GDPR
  •         Building an email list
  •         Analytics
  •         Creating video content
